Tiahne is a Melbourne-based multidisciplinary artist whose creative essence seamlessly weaves through filmmaking, photography, art and design.

With a deep-rooted passion for capturing the profound and ephemeral, she specializes in documentary and editorial work, finding beauty in moments steeped in emotion and shaped by light.

Drawing from over 16 years of dance experience, Tiahne’s photographic style is both poetic and painterly, imbuing her images with a unique sense of movement, musicality, and mood.

Her practice is characterized by a commitment to intentionality, storytelling, and depth, revealing the intimate connections that compose a larger narrative.

She is an out-of-the-box thinker, with an open mind that embraces the world around her through a unique and imaginative lens.

Her creative spirit, nurtured from an early age by her art teacher mother and photographer aunt, has flourished through a rich tapestry of visual and performative arts. Tiahne’s innate ability to see beyond the conventional is her greatest strength, allowing her to breathe life into her artistic visions.

As she fondly recalls, “Ever since I was a little girl and getting in trouble for drawing on the wall, I have loved creating and imagining. Obviously, creativity is in my genes!” This enduring passion and boundless imagination are the hallmarks of her extraordinary artistic path.

RMIT’s Bachelor’s Degree in Communications (Media) with Distinction in 2019.

Swinburne’s Diploma in Screen and Media (Film and TV) in 2020 with High Distinction grades.

Initially, chasing her dream to be a costume designer, Tiahne completed her first year of high education in RMIT’s Bachelor of Fashion Design (HONOURS); however, the media world was calling her name leading her to graduate from the above.
